I'm a pretty tolerant person. So, if I do complain about something, its not a issue that happens only once.
I ordered a 8 piece chicken deal. I payed up front and discovered I had got only 6 pieces. I returned to the deli. The cashier is ringing up a co-worker. Then they proceed to chit chat. And I'm standing there right behind the co-worker staring at the cashier. 5 minutes I stood there waiting for their conversation to be over. 5 minutes is not very long, but when you are short 2 chicken...it seemed like forever.
Today, I went over to get a potatoe salad. The cashier is chatting it up again with some customer. But with the body language, it appears they know each other well. The other deli worker said hello but she has to help another customer. Again, I stood there watching the cashier chat it up for 5 minutes.
Maybe because I'm Asian. I get that allot. People think they can just ignore Asian people. They feel we con't complain and won't mind waiting.
Whatever the reason, if I have to wait 5 minutes again, for a Cashier to finish chit chatting, I'm going to make a scene.
I don't mind them talking, but they can see me clearly waiting there.
